The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) has set aside $1m for the e-Ambassador programme over the next three years. This programme is one of the five thrusts announced by Mr Yeo Cheow Tong, Minister for Communications and Information Technology on 1 March 2000, to dot-com the people sector.
